The Grand Stade de Tanger
Formerly known as Ibn Battouta Stadium, it has been fully renovated to meet FIFA requirements: the running track was removed to bring the stands closer to the pitch, new hospitality areas were added and capacity is around 75,500. It also hosted matches of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
Getting to Tangier
From Spain, the Tarifa ferry reaches Tanger Ville port in the city centre in about an hour, and the Algeciras ferry arrives at Tanger Med. Ibn Battouta airport has many European connections, and the Al Boraq high-speed train links Rabat and Casablanca, two other host cities.
Book early
During the tournament, accommodation and transfers will be in high demand. Book your stay as soon as the schedule is announced and arrange match-day transfers in advance: a private driver saves you the taxi queues outside the stadium.

Explore the medina and kasbah, Café Hafa, Cap Spartel and the Caves of Hercules, or spend a day in Chefchaouen, Tetouan or Asilah.
